Meet Our team
bora
Bora grew up in the Finders Keepers workshop, spending her childhood surrounded by timber, tools, and the steady rhythm of making. Raised around the business by her aunt and uncle, the original founders, she learned early on that craftsmanship takes time, care, and respect for the material. Those early days shaped her connection to Finders Keepers long before she imagined taking it over. Now, Bora is proud to continue the business as the next generation, honoring the values it was built on while bringing her own perspective to the work.
leon
Leon is a friendly, hands-on woodworker who finds joy in the workshop, working alone and figuring things out as he goes. He loves sharing the craft in a way that’s clear, practical, and enjoyable, helping students build skills they can trust. For Leon, woodworking isn’t just about making pieces it’s about slowing down, paying attention, and doing things properly, one step at a time.
uncle rana
Finders Keepers was founded by Bora’s uncle, whose approach to woodworking was shaped by his upbringing in Nepal and a deep respect for materials. Largely self taught, he learned the skills of carpentry through observation, experimentation, and patience, working with tools and materials he sourced himself. With limited resources, he developed a hands on understanding of timber by learning directly from the material, allowing it to guide the way each piece was made. This process built not only his technical skill, but a philosophy rooted in care, intention, and making the most of what is available. These values became the foundation of the business, focused on creating honest, functional pieces made to last, and his influence continues to guide the workshop today.
